10/30 Ride & City - NJ/NYC:  On 10/30, anyone who wants to join us can meet
us at the Dunkin Donuts / Pompton Plains Kawasaki dealer on 23 Northbound
side at 10:00 AM.  We are going to "New Lok Kee" (Formerly Sun Lok Kee) a
famous Chinese restaurant recently transplanted by fire from Chinatown's
Mott Street to Flushing Queens.  Departure from Pompton Plains is 10:15
sharp so please do not be late!

Planned Route: We are going 23 N to 287 N to 17N through Harriman State Park
to Bear Mt to 202 to Taconic to Sprain Pkwy to Bx River Pky to Cross County
Pky to Hutchinson River Pky to Whitestone bridge to 678 (whitestone X) to
Northern Blvd to Main St.. (Flushing).

If the weather is bad, I'm still going.  I'll make a determination based on
the forecast either late Friday night or really early Saturday morning.  If
you don't hear from me, we ride from Pompton Plains!  If you do, It'll be
with alternate plans, directions, etc.

The place is AMAZING.  I used to go there 2-3 times a week prior to getting
married.  Then I got married and it cut down to 1/month trips.  Then it
burned down and disappeared.  Now we found it and I'm doing something I said
I'd never do. Riding into NYC for the best daggone Chinese food in the NY
Metro area.

We hope to enter the city and make lunch around 1:00ish...  I have people
meeting us at the restaurant (you know who you are!) so we will wait for
them to arrive.  You can call me on my cell phone (hint, hint, write it

Regardless of who is there, we sit down and eat at 1:45 at the latest!
