As you all probably know by now, the big event I have a part in eyarly is
The Ride 2005. If you haven't already heard about this weekend's great
event, here are the details:

*** START ***

This is the final message about The Ride 2005 prior to us gathering together
this weekend - rain or shine!

I'll try to make it as quick as possible, but there is a lot to cover.

If you wish to fill out your registration form prior to showing up, you can
download them at the following web page in Word and PDF format:
http://youthelate.com/preregistration2005.htm

Everyone who hands in a completed registration form will receive a raffle
ticket. This means everyone has a chance to win! Additional tickets will
be available at registration. As always, the suggested donation per vehicle
is $15.00. However, no donation is necessary to participate in The Ride
2005. Registration begins after 9:00 AM. See below for more details.

Registration will begin shortly afterwards and be open until around 11:00
AM. Registration and raffle ticket sales will continue at our destination
since there is at least one club joining us at the destination only.

If you plan on taking the longer self-guided riding routes, we suggest you
are there and registered as close to 9:00 as possible. Otherwise, you will
be late for lunch!

ROUTES:
We are offering a number of tours for the day. The longest is 116 miles and
is expected to take almost 4 hours. There are also 88 mile and 53 mile

See you this Saturday at The Ride 2005!
Joe

P.s. For those of you who are early birds, I will be meeting a small handful
of riders / volunteers at 7:30 AM. We will meet at Mac's Diner located on
the northbound side of Route 23 about a mile north of the route 23 and route
287 intersection. The diner opens at 6:00 AM if you are hungry and we plan
on leaving at 7:45 SHARP. Breakfast will not be served at the starting
location so plan on a stop somewhere or be prepared to eat a lot at lunch
due to extreme hunger. <grin> There is a diner a few miles north and a
Dunkin Donuts a mile south of our launch point as well.
