[enjoyLIFErides] Pre-Ride Schedule Changes for This Week

This week's pre-ride activities have a slight schedule change.  Please see below.


TONIGHT (July 16, 2008)
Departing Location & Time:
50 Division Avenue

Directly across the street from the Millington train station is a large tan / gray building.  Look for building #1 and the "motorcycle parking" only section.  Locate the black Valkyrie and wait for me to come out if I'm not there yet.  :)

If you are on the same side of the railroad tracks as the post office, you are on the wrong side of the tracks to meet us!

The route will be mostly back roads until we get to Route 46.  Then it will be a short ride down the highway to Clifton and the best unhealthy hot dogs you have ever had!  It will be about 35 miles and an hour+ from start to finish.

NOTE: I'll have forms for "The Ride 2008" with me if you want to sign up for the BBQ / Turtle Back Zoo portion of the event taking place on July 27.
The deadline to sign up is this weekend!

Feel free to meet us at the destination!  I'll be the guy standing next to a black Valkyrie with flyers stuck all over it or walking around stuffing hot dogs into his face.  Feel free to take a few flyers if I'm not standing there.


I'll be at Rutt's from around 7:00 PM through 8:30 PM.

I've been so busy planning this event that I almost forgot when my wife's birthday was...  Care to guess the day?  <grin>

The route will be mostly back roads for the entire time.  I'll take us out to Somerset county and we will saunter around on some great roads out that way.  Then, when the time is just right, we will head down to Famous Dave's to "sample" the food we will be having at the BBQ the following weekend.  You pay for the food you want to try, but I'll have some strong suggestions!
